Donate Your Old Formal Dresses to Branches!
Branches Domestic Violence Shelter believes every young woman deserves to feel beautiful on prom night and feel safe every other night of the year, too. That's why Branches is collecting formal wear and accessories for the second annual Dresses for Domestic Peace Sale.
Branches Domestic Violence Shelter is partnering with Picasso Salon & Day Spa to host a Prom Dress Drive on Sunday, February 19. The drive is an exciting opportunity for Branches to make a difference in the lives of local high school students as well as raise money for operating costs for Branches Domestic Violence Shelter & Branches’ Safe Dates Program.
Branches’ mission is to resell donated new and used formal wear to high school students who may otherwise not be able to afford to attend their high school prom. Dresses will be sold on Sunday, March 11, at a fraction of the retail price, with 100% of proceeds going to Branches.
You can help! Drop off new or like new formal wear and accessories at the Picasso Salon & Day Spa, 1112 Main St., Barboursville, WV on Sunday, February 19 from 1pm-5pm. Dresses donated should be clean and on hangers. All donations are tax deductable. For more information, contact Branches Domestic Violence Shelter at 304-529-2382.
