Paint the Town Purple with Branches Domestic Violence Shelter

Branches Domestic Violence Shelter would like to announce the winners of our first Paint the Town Purple fundraising event. So many businesses in town came together to help support our cause, and we would like to thank everyone for the time and support.

The winners in each category are as follows:
Restaurant: Jim’s Steak & Spaghetti House
Bar: Scratches
Other: Tropical Moon Frozen Yogurt
Awards are divided into three separate categories: restaurants, bars and other (including ice cream or yogurt shops and salons).

**Awards for these participants will be given out at Jim’s Steak & Spaghetti House, on Thursday, February 27 at 2 p.m.

Paint the Town Purple was a one day event, held Saturday, November 16, where area restaurants and bars were invited to donate a portion of their sales to Branches Domestic Violence Shelter. The establishments who donated the most that night receive a traveling trophy to display for one full year. All of the money that is raised by the Paint the Town Purple event will be used to further help victims in West Virginia with emergency shelter, legal assistance, individual & group counseling, case management and much more.
