FREQUENTLY NEEDED ITEMS

We're so grateful for all the community donations that help us keep the people we serve safe and on the path to healing. If you're interested in donating, you can browse this list for ideas or click on one of the shopping list buttons below to be directed straight to an Amazon wish list. 

Here's a list of  supplies that we are always in need of for our shelter and our non-residential clients:

  • Bedding (twin and full size)

  • Bus Passes

  • Calling Cards

  • Cleaning supplies

  • Clock radios/ alarm clocks

  • Copy Paper

  • Cups (both disposable & plastic reusable)

  • Deodorant 

  • Dry-erase Markers

  • Feminine hygiene products 

  • Freezer storage bags

  • Garbage Bags

  • Gas, phone & food gift cards

  • Gift cards to chain stores (ie. Target, Kroger, and Wal-Mart)

  • Good quality pots and pans

  • Laundry detergent & dryer sheets

  • Legal Sized Pads

  • Lined Paper

  • Liquid dishwashing detergent

  • Luggage & backpacks

  • Manicure & Make-up kits

  • Nightgowns/Pajamas

  • Over the counter medications and first aid items 

  • Paper Towels

  • Pens/Highlighters

  • Pillows –regular sized bed pillows

  • Postage Stamps

  • Radio/CD Player

  • Razors 

  • Reusable Grocery Bags

  • Silverware 

  • Socks and underwear (New only, please) 

  • Storage Bins

  • Tissues

  • Toilet Paper

  • Toothbrushes & toothpaste

All items must be new, unused and unwrapped.
NEW clothing of all sizes are needed.

Meals on a Mission has been a huge success in 2024 with our incredible community donating 440 meals to survivors of domestic violence. 

 

For this reason, we've decided to make Meals on a Mission, a year-round opportunity.  Now--you can choose from our Putnam or Cabell County Meal Train calendars to schedule your meal donation!
